2000-2001 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE RELEASED

DAN PETERS BECOMES A FLYER
(June 9, 2000) The United States Hockey League (USHL) has announced
that on Tuesday, June 6, former Omaha Lancers' defenseman Dan Peters
signed a free-agent contract with the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL.
WALSH GOES WILD
Last week former Lancer Brendan Walsh signed a
free-agent contract with the expansion Minnesota Wild. Terms of the deal
were not disclosed. Walsh finished his collegiate career with the
University of Maine this past season. He was the Black Bears
fourth-leading scorer with 30 points and led the team in penalty minutes
with 106 minutes. In his last season with the Lancers ('94-'95), Walsh
collected 56 points and 198 penalty minutes. He originally went to Boston
University and then transferred to Maine following the 1996-97 season.
BRETT DAVIS UPDATE
He will be coming in the end part of May to take his Math and English
placement tests at UNO and will be in touch with you all very soon.
